Nice’n Easy Piano Music

Book 12

I Can Sight Read

The I Can Sight Read series, aims to provide all students with the opportunity to improve their sight reading – a vital skill for all musicians. Great care has been taken with Book One to ensure that students are introduced to reading in an inviting, non-threatening way. Note values are kept very simple throughout, so that even by the end of the book, where there are crotchets, minims, rests etc. the timing is still totally accessible

It is suggested that students name the notes as they are being played to build up fluency in note recognition.

With regular practice, students will be amazed at just how easy sight reading can be!
